Antibiotice, along with the world largest producers in the pharmaceutical industry

For three days, between 9th  and 12th of October, Antibiotice participated in CPhI Worldwide, the world’s leading pharmaceutical networking event.

CPhI Worldwide 2012, held in Madrid, brought together nearly 30,000 visitors from 140 countries of the world, among them specialists of the companies producing active substances and excipients, representatives of the finished drug manufacturers as well as Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and R&D consultants.

Considering the wide exposure and the large number of participants, CPhI offered the company a good opportunity to dealing with more of the business partners from the foreign markets, as well as to identifying new opportunities to develop the export of drugs.

At the moment, Antibiotice has concluded agreements with about 100 business partners in 60 countries worldwide. The pharmaceutical company from Iasi exports 70 finished-form medicines and the active substance Nystatin, the only antibiotic manufactured in Romania by biosynthesis, for which the company holds the second place in the world.

At the same time, this year’s exhibition event was a good opportunity to promote Antibiotice as a full service provider for the generic drug industry, starting from product research and development, bioequivalence studies, typical activities of regulatory affairs to the drug contract manufacturing, on the 8 GMP authorized manufacturing lines.

The company’s participation in CPhI for the 9th consecutive year ensures the continuity of developing the external business relations, activity that has become a strategic direction for the period 2012-2016.
