Antibiotice employees donate blood

For the fifth consecutive year, Antibiotice employees donated blood on in order to prevent the acute lack of blood in hospitals.

53 doners, 27 litres of blood and more than 100 lives saved!
These are the figures of the 8th blood donation campaign organised by Antibiotice on April 21st, 2015, and the first this year.

Urged by the slogan “Donate blood! Put soul for life! “Antibiotice employees responded to the blood donation campaign held yesterday, April 21st, by the Antibiotice – Science and Soul foundation in partnership with the Regional Center for blood transfusion (CRTS) Iasi.” I thought it was a great opportunity to do something for the community. In addition, this campaign comes to meet both needs, employees who want to be donors but don’t have the time and the need to supplement the blood supply in hospitals, ” said Razvan Tataru, Legal Adviser, one of the 53 donors.

“We are pleased to see that while this initiative has become a tradition. Today we reached the 400th blood donation, which, according to statistics, means that we helped save more than 850 lives. This can only make us happy and motivate us to continue a program that showed our sincere desire to do a good deed. ” said Ioana Tode, President of the Antibiotice – Science and Soul Foundation.

The mobile blood collect action was carried out in the clinical unit of the Center for Drug Evaluation by specialists from CRTS. “Given the very low reserves at the Centre we are happy to carry on the tradition along with Antibiotice. Certainly today we managed to save many lives. ” told us dr. Andreea Vătămanu, spokesperson of the Iasi Regional Centre for blood transfusions.
