Antibiotice Iași awarded with Gold Level Recognition at the Romania Corporate Sustainability & Transparency INDEX competition
Antibiotice Iași obtains Gold Level Recognition with 93 points (out of 100), ranking 4th at the Romania Corporate Sustainability & Transparency Index Ranking 2024 (CST INDEX ®), the highest sustainability ranking in the country, now in its 9th edition.
The competition was organized on December 12, 2024, by The Azores – Sustainability & CSR Services, with Antibiotice participating alongside major companies from Romania in this evaluation of sustainability and corporate responsibility in the country, which is internationally recognized.
The Romania CST INDEX ® is a sustainability rating, a rigorous and unique analysis in Romania of sustainability reports, offering recognition to companies with high performance in sustainability management and transparency in social, environmental, and economic indicators. This award strengthens stakeholders’ trust in the transparency and veracity of the data published.
Antibiotice Iași also obtained Gold Level Recognition in this competition in 2021 and 2023, ranking among the top 7 companies in Romania for transparency and sustainability performance.
About the Romania CST Index Ranking
This ranking was created following an analysis of sustainability reports from large companies in Romania for the year 2023. The reports were evaluated based on 85 sustainability indicators and 201 datapoints related to the companies’ economic, environmental, and social involvement. The final score of each company is calculated depending on the industry the company belongs to.
The sustainability indicators of companies were assessed based on performance and transparency in areas such as:
- Climate change
- Governance
- Diversity and anti-corruption policies
- Responsibility towards employees
- Responsible marketing
- Value chain
Antibiotice Iași has been reporting non-financial impact data since 2017. For three years, it has voluntarily prepared an Integrated Annual Report that includes both financial and non-financial data.
