Antibiotice Iași, First Place in the Ranking of the Most Competitive Companies in Romania for Over 20 Years

Antibiotice Iași won the National AwardFirst Place at the 31st edition of the National Firms Top Gala, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania. The award was given in the Industry – Large Enterprises – Manufacturing of Basic Pharmaceutical Products category.

For over 30 years, the National Firms Top has been a true benchmark of business performance, ranking the most competitive companies in Romania and reflecting the value and dynamics of the business environment. Antibiotice Iași has ranked first in this top for over 20 consecutive years in its field, excelling in business both locally and nationally.

  • +28% increase in net turnover on the domestic market
  • 81.1 million RON net profit
  • +18% increase in net turnover from exports
  • 146% increase in the value of the stock
  • 98 million RON investments to consolidate the business and strategically develop the company
  • 25 million EUR funding from the European Investment Bank, granted via the InvestEU facility, to support the company’s investment program
  • 85 million RON non-reimbursable funds attracted through state aid for the production capacity of sterile products, solutions, and topicals
  • 4.1 million RON co-financing for renewable energy production capacity

This ranking, conducted by the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry System, includes information from over 800,000 financial statements of active companies in Romania that ranked in the top 10 in each analyzed field. Key economic indicators considered in the ranking include net turnover, operating profit, operating profit margin, human resource utilization efficiency, and the efficiency of capital employed.
