Net profit goes up 15% in the first 3 months 2015

Today, May 15th, 2015, Antibiotice sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange the financial results report on the first quarter of 2015. According to the financial results communicated to the BSE, the net profit recorded a positive trend, reaching 6.06 million LEI, up 15% compared to the same period of 2014.

The priorities in the period reviewed were to increase sales in the market, indicator that reported a value of 73.1 million lei, increasing by 7.3% compared to the first quarter of 2014 when it was 68.1 million lei, as well as well as to increase sales in pharmacies which went up 26.5% compared to the same period last year.

Therefore, by diminishing stocks in the market, the company was able to achieve production on the 8 manufacturing flows so as, starting with the second quarter, to create prerequisites for resuming the growth trend turnover.

Sales revenue (net turnover) amounting to 52.6 million lei reported a 3% increase compared to the estimates in the revenue and expenditure for the first quarter.

This trend was mainly driven by products from the following therapeutic classes: anti-infectives for systemic use (+ 14.3%), central nervous system (+ 35%), antineoplastic drugs (+ 8%) and respiratory system (+ 39%). Moreover, we aimed at promoting new therapeutically valuable drugs, with a significant share in sales, in the coming years.
