World Antimicrobial Awareness Week
The “George Emil Palade” classroom of UMF Iași was, on Wednesday, November 16, filled with over 100 medical students and pharmacists curious to learn about the means of combating microbial resistance, one of the most important topics of medicine and current research.
For 2 hours, they participated in a training session held by associate Dr. Roxana Georgiana Taușer, head of work Dr. Andrei Vâță, primary physician Infectious Diseases and moderated by Andrada Cozac, medical manager Antibiotics. The event is part of the campaign “Treat antibiotics with care for a care-free future!”, organized by our company in the context of the European Antibiotic Information Day (November 18) and the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (November 18-24).
Simultaneously, as part of the same campaign, a seminar was organized in Bucharest, in the Amphitheater of the “Matei Balș” Hospital for Infectious Diseases, by Prof. Oana Stănculescu, for the students of the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
